Multi-Media Filtration
Multi-media Filtration is the most common type of water filtration; each filter has several layers of media which are stacked together with the densest media at the bottom and lighter media at the top.
The multi-media filter is used to pretreat the water and ensure the effectiveness of the water treatment process. The filters are commonly used to reduce the levels of SDI (silt density index) and TSS (total suspended solids).
