MBBR
The MBBR (moving bed bioreactor) process is used for the removal of organic matter, nitrification. The MBBR works by allowing bacteria to grow on the internal surface of the recycled plastic carriers. The carries aeration system ensures the sludge is constantly moving which produces even more bacteria growth. The bacteria help break down the organic matter from the wastewater. It is an economical solution for wastewater treatment which offers a minimize process complexity and a maintenance-friendly water solution, for the industrial and municipal markets.
